Announces A United Front Against Gun Violence Press Conference Atlanta, GA, 3/27/2024 –BlackPush, Inc. is hosting the largest press conference and networking event for those advocating against gun violence in Atlanta. The press conference will be on Wednesday, March 27, at 10:30 AM in the sanctuary of the historic First Iconium Baptist Church. Family members of those impacted by gun violence, the Concerned Black Clergy, Clinicians for Gun Safety, Georgia Majority for Gun Safety, the NAACP, Moms Demand Action, Mothers Against Gang Violence, Giffords Gun Owners for Safety, Tyme to Thrive, The Hip Hop Party, Community Justice Action Fund, Jared’s Heart of Success, and many more non-profits and individuals who fight to make our community safe again will be present.
The press conference will address the success or failure of gun safety legislation currently under consideration in the Georgia General Assembly as well as showcase the unity of folks from all walks of life in wanting change when it comes to the issue of gun violence.
